Chicago burger garnished with Communion wafer (USA News)

CHICAGO (AP) — A Chicago restaurant has concocted a disputable burger of the month for October, embellishing it with an unconsecrated Communion wafer and a red wine lessening sauce.

Kuma's Corner, a foodie goal with only a couple of tables, names its ground sirloin sandwiches after substantial metal groups. For October, the restaurant decided to name the burger after the Swedish band Ghost. Parts of the band dress in religious robes and wear skeleton face cosmetics.

It's in poor taste, said Jeff Young of New Orleans who runs the website Catholic Foodie.

"It's not, for us, the Eucharist," Young said. "Be that as it may this wafer is an image. There's a cross on it. It's like taking a banner and smoldering a banner."

Luke Tobias, Kuma's Corner chief of operations, said the restaurant never needed to irritate anybody. He said response has been a "blended pack," yet more positive than negative.

"There are individuals who are affronted by it, however we're charmed to see that usually individuals appear to have a comical inclination," Tobias said.

The restaurant, which frequently plays uproarious substantial metal music, is an aficionado of Ghost, Tobias said. Adolescent said he understands that and knows Kuma's Corner would deliberately like to make anybody distraught.
