TORONTO — Jason Reitman's Labor Day, an unwavering adjustment of Joyce Maynard's novel, screened today at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The commentators and news people grouped inside the little screening room on Friday morning were very nearly generally inspired, in spite of the fact that they did scold Reitman for attempting earnestly on occasion.
The film opened the Telluride Film Festival in August. The film is booked for discharge in select urban communities in December.
That aside, Toronto is to the extent that motion pictures as it is about film geek minutes. All the major lodgings have obstructions set up out front, for the swarms who hang out throughout the day, wanting to impression Winslet (at the Ritz) or Michael Fassbender (leaving the Windsor Arms).
