Firefighters gain traction with Calif. wildfire (USA News)

REDDING, Calif. (AP) — Firefighters picked up the upper hand Tuesday on an out of control bonfire in Northern California that crushed 30 homes and compelled in the vicinity of 600 individuals out of their homes, fire authorities said.
