Fernando Alonso has pledged to see out his career at Ferrari and dismissed claims he tried to move to Red Bull.
Red Bull insiders have told wholewnews.blogspot.com Sport Alonso pushed hard this summer to join them
and the idea was taken seriously before they chose Daniel Ricciardo.
"It was only rumours," said Alonso. "A lot of rumours - about Red Bull, about a sabbatical year. So many rumours.
"I have three and a half more years with Ferrari, which I intend to respect and hopefully increase a little."
Alonso, whose Ferrari contract races to the close of 2016, said that taking a vacation one year from now was "never a choice", including: "I am in the best minute of my profession, with the best experience and performing at the best time.
"I won't lose any chance [to race] now. I know I am still fit as a fiddle for perhaps four, five more years, so for these beyond any doubt I will give 100% of my ardor, which is motorsport.
"After these four or five years I will see what condition I am in and provided that I am performing great."
Alonso, who won the big showdown with Renault in 2005 and 2006, joined Ferrari in 2010 and verged on winning the title in both his first season with the group and a year ago, missing out to Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel both times.
In the not so distant future, he is again the German's closest challenger, however in front of this weekend's Italian Grand Prix Alonso is 46 focuses behind with 200 focuses still accessible in the remaining eight races.
"We are not at the minute realizing the outcomes we need yet we are working exceptionally hard," he said.
"One year from now there will be new tenets and it opens the avenue to numerous groups to stop Red Bull having the mastery they have had the final couple of years so we have high trusts for one year from now's test."
Alonso said he was "ideal" that he could close the hole to Vettel in the following two races, in Monza this weekend then in Singapore in a fortnight's opportunity.
"[at the final race] In Spa we saw a few steps send from us and we would like to proceed with that bearing and continue enhancing here in Monza," Alonso said.
"The aspects of the track may as well help our execution also so we have everything set up to benefit a weekend.
"We have to convey in the race however we land with some great certainty and primed to battle.
"For us, Singapore will be a stronger test, when we return to [having to use] greatest downforce.
"There we will perceive what amount of a stage forward we did, yet how about we focus on this weekend and attempt to do the most extreme and finalize before our principle rivals."
He said considering winning in both Monza and Singapore was "excessively hopeful" and that if Vettel pressed on further bolstering augment his good fortune Ferrari would successfully need to discount 2013.
"The more reasonable target is to complete before Sebastian and finalizing before Sebastian means being on the platform least since we know how solid he is and how intense Red Bull will be," said Alonso.
"So two platform and completing before Sebastian is the focus for these next two races.
"Provided that we can't do so and we continue losing focuses, clearly we have to begin thinking about the 2014 venture on the grounds that there will be just six or seven races staying with a monstrous focuses crevice. So critical weeks are desiring us."
