CLAYTON, Calif. (AP) — Fire authorities say in the ballpark of 25 extra homes were cleared overnight, as an out of control bonfire blazing in a San Francisco Bay Area wild park developed.
The blast in Mt. Diablo State Park in Contra Costa County has smoldered 1,500 sections of land as of Monday morning, up from in the vicinity of 800 sections of land the past day when it broke out. The blaze is 10 percent held.
In the vicinity of 100 homes have been cleared around the town of Clayton, in the vicinity of 35 miles northeast of San Francisco
