Catch possessor discovers record breaking 845.8 pound Blue Marlin

Chris Ferrara, holder of Hook Up restaurant in Biloxi, won the Wharf Marina Blue Marlin Grand Championship in Orange Beach, Alabama on Sunday.

The Baton Rouge, LA man and his group got a 845.8 pound Blue Marlin 80 miles off the shore of Orange Beach on board a 61-foot Viking.

Ferrara said getting the creature fish was a six and half hour episode. He said it wouldn't be conceivable without a collaboration from the whole team of "Reel Fire"-Captain Michael Roberto, First Mate Eric Chandler, Kate Ferrara, Connor Ferrara, Ivan Duke and Ken Dunham.

Ferrara's get surpassed the Alabama 24 year record by 66 pounds, consistent with Ferrara's Management Secretary Leslie Davidson.
